Our Core Values
At Community LIFE Church our core values are based on our mission to help others worship God passionately, walk with Christ personally and work for Him purposefully! To accomplish this mission, everything we do is based on these five core values:
People Matter to God
People Matter to God and therefore, matter to us. As a "whosoever" community of believers our doors are wide open to people from all backgrounds, regardless of where they are on their spiritual journey. What people usually notice first about us is the love and acceptance from the moment they visit our services. We are passionate about helping people find a LIFE changing relationship with Christ, discover their God-given purpose and live this out passionately as God uniquely prepared for them. (Genesis 1:26-27; 1 John 4:19).
Every Member a Minister
God has called us to go and make disciples. He even gave us spiritual gifts to empower us for this mission. We value the development of leaders through relational community, small groups and discipleship that result in serving our community, church and world. (Ephesians 2:10; Matthew 28:16-20)
God is Honored in Excellence
God is honored in excellence in all things done out of loving obedience to Him. We value holy living motivated by a desire to glorify God. “Whatever we do, whether in word and in deed, we do it all to the glory and honor of God.” (1 Corinthians 14:12; Colossians 3:17).
Community is Central
As a reflection of our Creator who exists in community as Father, Son and Spirit, we live in community with one another. We place high value on living deeply with one another, carrying each other’s burdens, sharing possessions, and sacrificially loving one another. We strive to be a church of unity with diversity as people interact with others. We are committed to serving our local community desiring to be the hands and feet of Christ to our city, county, state and world. (Acts 2:42-47; John 17:20-23)
Everything Belongs to God
All of our time, resources and talent belongs to God. Our time, our house, our kids, our bank accounts are in His hands. We are called to be stewards over what God has given us. As stewards of what HE has blessed us with, we honor him with our time, our talents and our treasures. We give because we want to be obedient to God, to impact the lives of others and express our gratitude to God above, the only sure and stable One in this universe. (Psalms 24:1; Colossians 1:16)
